A Festive Pride Month

This June has been a Pride Month to remember. The Supreme Court has struck down the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8. As one of the growing number of Marriage Equality states, New York is a magnet for same sex couples who want to "make it legal." Congratulations!

First Update After a Busy Summer

Sometimes couples live together for years and start a family before deciding to get married.  In this case, after 12 years together and raising a son, Joe and Mike were finally able to be married in New York state.  Not long ago they might have not have thought it possible, but here they are sharing their wedding day with their son.

They managed to have their ceremony and take photos around NYC right before the start of Hurricane Irene!

Winter Wedding Fun

Liz and James must be the most in love couple this December.  On one of the coldest days this season, we ran all over midtown Manhattan.  I wore a long down coat while they frolicked around town in dressy wedding attire without a care in the world.  We had the streets pretty much to ourselves just a week before Christmas.  That's how cold it was.
